Hello everyone, its been a long time since I was here. I last registered here in 2009 (I had a Tahiti blue mini mayfair) but sadly I had to sell my mini and it has taken a long time to get back in the saddle, I have obviously completely lost the plot since then because I've just bought a rust bucket mini designer (Mary Quant) 1988 with a 1275 block that I will be completely stripping down and re-vamping. The engine runs but has been sat for 2 years, I plan on stripping this back to bare basics and replacing everything that's needed as I go along. The body however well there won't be anything original left when it's done, the whole thing is very poorly so as and when money allows I will be buying replacement panels, I am hoping this won't take more than 2 years. So that's it, I am still Di I am now 48 and am obviously ready for the local nut house, glad to be back, Diane.
